Boil some new potatoes just until they are fork tender. Saute' some chorizo in a pan until it is cooked through and given off it's red oil. Immediately pour the chorizo over the potatoes and mix it until they soak up the oil and cover all the potatoes. Mix this into the capers and onions, along with 2 T. white wine vinegar, some olive oil and S&P. Sprinkle with sliced green onions. We ate it warm but it is good at room temperature too. This in my new favorite potato salad.
I served it with soft boiled eggs sprinkled with paprika and some sausages cooked with rosemary.
The flavor is incredible.
I made this cheesy, garlic pizza to go along with it. The recipe will be posted soon!

Still not very interested in food :-) But this looks perfect for a Friday evening :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
Pizza as a side dish with pasta? Brilliant idea! And I LOVE chorizo, pasta and sausages as a mix, so this dish is brilliant! Sadly I have a more ascetic diet now.
I love potato salad. This is different and I know it will be delicious.
hmmm hmmm hmmm Chorizo! I love it. We have it on hand at all times. I will try this salad and waiting for the pizza receipt.

OH WOW!!! Look at that pizza! I can almost smell it!!! -sigh-
Re: You question in my comments, on this blog entry... Not sure of the make. But it's a beautiful soup tourine, given us by one of our daughter's in law, years ago. I love how it looks, as a center piece. :-)
I've been making this chorizo casserole type thing. Chorizo cooked with onions and mushrooms, mixed with egg noodles, yogurt, and cilantro.
Pretty darn good meal.
I am quite hungry now.
Yes I do believe I need to try this right away! YUUM.
